'Cane Toads' is the story of how cane toads were introduced to Queensland to combat the cane grub. Instead, they promptly multiplied. To biologists, the Cane Toads are a scourge, destroying native wildlife, while alternatively to many Queenslanders, they are seen as a sort of mascot. The hilarity lies in the very different perspectives people have of these fascinating creatures.Whilst most of us know chicken from our dinner plates, few of us pause to consider this bird's many virtues.
