After critics described the 2004 debut album ‘A Mark on the Pane’ as ‘one of the year’s most beautiful records” Tamas Wells moved overseas for six months to write new material. On returning, producer Nathan Collins was enlisted, and eleven new tracks were then recorded live over several days in various living rooms in Melbourne with borrowed microphones and the subtle accompaniment of piano, tambourine, mandolin and organ.
