DESCRIPTION
In recent history, only the likes of Nirvana, RHCP or The Pixies have had more influence on the gestation and furtherance of rock music than Rage Against the Machine. Not only did they happily embrace changes (influences of hip-hop etc.) in contemporary music, their politics didn’t simply inform their music, their politics made RATM a force almost without equal. On September 12th and 13th 2000, RATM played their last ever shows as a band, and this album is the final result. Produced by the legendary Rick Rubin, the set reads like a wishlist of Rage tracks along with an incredible version of ‘How I Could Just Kill A Man’ with Cypress Hill.
