Legacy Recordings release 'Songs of Aloha,' the Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, and extraordinary musical companion to the upcoming film, 'Aloha.'

'Songs of Aloha' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) was curated and compiled by the film's Academy Award-winning writer/director Cameron Crowe (Say Anything..., Jerry Maguire, Almost Famous). The 19-track collection gathers Crowe's always wide-ranging musical selections, spanning such renowned artists as Beck, David Crosby, Fleetwood Mac, and The Blue Nile, contemporary singer/songwriters like Kurt Vile, Josh Ritter, and The Tallest Man on Earth, eclectic new acts including Radical Face and Evening Hymns, and acclaimed ambient/electronic musicians Vancouver Sleep Clinic and Jónsi & Alex, who contributed two brand-new compositions to the soundtrack.

In addition, 'Songs of Aloha' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) captures much of the film's evocative island atmosphere via contributions from traditional Hawaiian music legends Genoa Keawe and The Royal Hawaiian Serenaders as well as such masters of the slack-key guitar as Cyril Pahinui, Bobby Ingano, and Ledward Kaapana. 'Songs of Aloha' (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) was Executive Produced by Cameron Crowe.

In 'Aloha,' a celebrated military contractor (Bradley Cooper) returns to the site of his greatest career triumph – the US Space program in Honolulu, Hawaii – and reconnects with a long-ago love (Rachel McAdams) while unexpectedly falling for the hard-charging Air Force watchdog (Emma Stone) assigned to him. Aloha also stars Bill Murray, John Krasinski, Danny McBride, and Alec Baldwin.
