This feature length documentary shot on Haydens barge somewhere along the rivers of Holland in 1982 recounts the extraordinary events of his life with a no holds barred candour from his early sailing experiences, adventures with Yugoslav partisans during World War 2, Communist sympathies and his subsequent confession to the House of Un-American Activities Committee and his lifelong struggle with alcoholism.
