Hi! I'm Frank Crocco - Rock with the Croc. I'm a Columbia County native who has been rockin' around New York for the past 25+ years. I've traveled all over the Upstate New York from Hyde Park to Lake George and Vermont to Cobleskill bringing fun and entertainment to large groups of people. I've worked family 'fun'-ctions, local bars, resorts, restaurants, private clubs and organizations. So, you ask what is Rock with the Croc. I am a singer song-writer who likes to have fun with the people I'm entertaining. (And I like to dabble in the old soft shoe) My repertoire ranges from the golden oldies, to country, to pop; intermingled with my originals. I always strive to give more of 'me' then what one expects. Stop out to Dee Dee's in Latham and see for yourself! I've very active and involved in my performances and like to ensure that my audience is entertained and enthralled. I have been a songwriter for about 20 years and have to my credit over 30 original tunes and production of two projects of which I have been very successful at marketing. In 1988 I released my first project, 'Special Lady' from which 'Your Love' won a local talent contest. This brought me to the Regionals in Massachusetts and eventually ended at the Nationals in the Pocono's. Special Lady was noted as a local project that kept the Heart of Rock 'n' Roll Beating. It included several duets with Mary Anne Curro including "Can I Tell You" and "Whatever Happened". This was followed by 'Wake Up Heart' in 1998. Wake Up Heart has astounded young and old alike. The tear jerking ballads and the jazzy rhythm are enjoyed by all. This project had "Forever for You" and "You're my Habit" getting a lot of air time on WABY radio with local DJ David Allen. I would like to take this time to thank David for all his support and encouragement. Next to come is 'Ocean Girl'. This current project reflects my live performances and boasts some new hits like the cover title 'Ocean Girl' and 'Such a Long Way to Fall'. The Recording Company, owned and operated by Tim Lynch, has been instrumental in the production of Wake Up Heart and Ocean Girl. Tim and 'crew' have worked to bringing out the heart and soul of my music. The 'crew' of Rick Sullivan, Bill Alberts, Bob Vandentta, Bob Boyer and Deanna Ferris have made production of 'Ocean Girl' thoroughly enjoyable and a lot of great laughs. I know everyone gets excited about their new projects, but I truly believe that 'Ocean Girl' is my best work so far and will bring hours of enjoyment and smiles to all my fans. A large local following has enjoyed my songs and been full of encouragement and support of my desire to write and I thank them all. I have been a member of ASCAP for several years and my original songs have been honored for nine years consecutively, for their Special Awards Program.
