It was a golden age of music, when rock 'n' roll and pop was on the rise and local audiences were hungry for more. With TV in its infancy, 1958 heralded the beginning of the much-loved national television triumph – Bandstand. Created by TCN-9 executive Bruce Gyngell and modelled on the successful American musical /variety show of the same name, Bandstand was hosted by the ever-charming Brian Henderson - setting the standard for 14 entertaining years and presenting an astonishing 1500 local and international acts during its illustrious reign.

Never before released in the world comes a double bill of two of the world's biggest artists. Featured is a full show from the iconic Chequers Club in Sydney in 1968 with The Everly Brothers and Bandstand special featuring Roy Orbision performing some of his most loved songs along with performances by Bandstand regulars.
