King Record's representative hit compilation album,
Sungbae Park, who was called 'King Park', is the president of King Records, despite various negative images. He is being talked about as a legendary producer. This is because he has created numerous masterpieces that are engraved in the history of Korean popular music. Since the 1960s, when various Western popular music genres were introduced en masse, he reacted sensitively to the new genre of music that young people of the time preferred.
Entering the 1970s, King Park planned a project compilation album with an interest in folk and rock music that the youth and youth generations, who had rapidly risen as the protagonists of popular culture, enthusiastically responded to.
?71 King Hit Album VOL.1?, which has been the main axis of the singers of Shin Jung-hyun Division, which has already been re-released, and ?71 Explosive Hit Collection Vol. 1?, which was re-released in 180G and half this time, are hit compilation albums representing King Records. At the time, songs and hits of new genres were covered and received great love, but now they are all rare albums due to the pain of ban and indifferent years.

The first album that released the famous song
Released in 1971, the value of ?The 1st Album of 71 Explosive Hits? shines in that it is an album containing the first version of the famous song . The pirated style album cover image decorated with pictures of foreign lovers learning and teaching acoustic guitar represents the enthusiasm for learning acoustic guitar that was hot among students in the 70s. This album, which is very important in the history of Korean popular music, is full of rare 70's folk songs. The popularity of this compilation album, which was released around the same time as Yang Hee-eun's first full-length album, was released for the first time. In fact, it would not be an exaggeration to say that Yang Hee-eun's song, which was popular among young students at the same time, was not , but the title song of this album, . This song, with its simple and easy chord progression, was also widely used as a beginner's song for learning guitar.
Yang Hee-eun, who has a total of 3 songs, sang the pop song adaptation in a cool and clear tone in addition to , instantly emerging as a folk singer leading youth culture. In addition, she sang Kim Chu-ja's debut song and formed a relationship with Shin Ji-hyeon, the godfather of Korean rock. Seo Yoo-seok, who played the role of the eldest member of Korean folk music, also included two songs in the album, and , which he sang in a savory tone. He, along with Yang Hee-eun, also made a relationship with Shin Ji-hyun through this album and participated in music experiments. Shagrin, who improved his constitution with a male duet in a rock band, sang the song

Active communication between folk songs and rock music
This album was released in 1971, when folk songs and rock music started to become mainstream in youth culture. This album is also very important in that it is a material that shows that the two genres of folk and rock, which were enthusiastically responded to by the younger generation at the time, actively attempted to communicate. The folk song , which was sung by the godfather of rock Shin Ji-hyun playing the acoustic guitar, was first released in February 1971 and then re-recorded on this album. Songs such as and , original songs by Shin Ji-hyun sung by Yang Hee-eun and Twin Folio, prove the active communication between folk and rock at the time. It is also significant that Shin Ji-hyun's relationship with this album started in 1972 when he tried to produce Korea's first psychedelic folk album with male and female folk star singers Yang Hee-eun and Seo Yoo-seok.

Trio Harpanis, which caused a Latin music boom in Korea.
This album is attractive because it contains folk songs sung by unexpected musicians such as Shin Ji-hyun and the Japanese hybrid trio Harpanis. Shin Ji-hyeon's is a very rare version. In addition, by Jeong Hoon-hee, the winning song of the 1st Tokyo International Song Festival in 1970, and Shin Ji-hyeon's original song, , remade by the trio Harpanis with fantastic harmony, are must-listen tracks that add to the fun of appreciation. The album is the first to feature songs by the mixed Japanese Latin trio Harpanis. Trio Harpanis became the second foreign singer and first vocal group to release a solo album in Korea, following French chanson singer Yvette Giraud.
This album contains three songs by trio Harpanis, remakes of mixed duet Lana Erospo's , Eunhee's <(Wearing a Flower Ring) Trail>, and Edpoe's . Trio Harpanis, who released one more solo album after this album, brought a Latin music boom in Korea. After their appearance, the Latin mixed trio Sesamtrio and Romantiga with a similar concept were formed, drawing considerable response. In the 1970s, a trend was formed among young people to love the music of overseas Latin groups such as Trio Los Panchos and Los Indios Tabajaras. Among the members of the trio Harpanis, there was a theory that 'there are Koreans in Japan', but this is not confirmed information. In fact, there is no introduction of the members' names or groups anywhere on the album, so they remain as an unknown vocal group.

One of the most iconic banned albums of the 1970s
The ?71 Explosive Hit Collection 1st Album?, which contains folk songs sung by Yang Hee-eun, Seo Yoo-seok, Twin Folio, Shagrin, Shin Ji-hyun, Trio Harpanis, etc., became a big hit upon its release. It was so popular among students that it was even re-released on October 10, 1972, the year after its release. In that respect, it can be evaluated as an album that served as a catalyst for the emergence of various folk compilation series albums in the 1970s. However, the album's title song and biggest hit song was later released by the military Yusin regime, 'Why can't love come true? It's negative.' Automatically quietly disappearing from the shelves of record stores nationwide, this album was imprinted as one of the banned albums representing the 1970s, along with important solo works by Kim Min-ki, Han Dae-su, and Shin Ji-hyun. /Choi Kyu-seong, representative of the Korean Popular Song Research Institute.
