While out on the property, he meets pretty single mother Clydie (Rosanna Arquette) and her kids, Mookie (Kieran Culkin) and Bree (Tiffany Taubman), who are being intimidated by local land developer Franklin Hale (Joss Ackland). After falling for Clydie, Sam decides to stay and help defend the farm from Hale's thugs, despite the risk that it means for him as a wanted man.

Archeologist Robert Burns (Steven Seagal) is on a dig in China and discovers that criminals are using his artifacts to smuggle drugs. Then his assistant is murdered by the crooks, and Burns is arrested for the crime. Once proven innocent and released, he heads back to the U.S., where his wife, Maya (Kata Dobó), is killed in an explosion set by the smugglers. He sets out to get his revenge on the killers, with Chinese cop Ling (Michelle Goh) and DEA agent Grey (Corey Johnson) also in pursuit.

Out of Reach
For reasons he isn't keen on discussing, martial arts expert William Lancing (Steven Seagal) quits his government job for a life of solitude off the grid, caring for forest animals and writing to his Polish pen pal, Irena (Ida Nowakowska). When Irena goes missing, Lancing decides to fly to Poland to investigate. In his search for Irena, he teams up with Polish police officer Kasia (Agnieszka Wagner), and the two learn that they'll have to take down an entire crime syndicate to save Irena.
