Joseph Tawadros AM is a 4-times ARIA award winning master of the Oud, a Middle Eastern lute. He has recorded 14 albums of original music and he is the oud player you hear on the ARIA award winning Ali's Wedding soundtrack.

Expect a thrilling mix of Middle Eastern, jazz, traditional sounds and contemporary innovations, including music from Joseph's new album The Bluebird, the Mystic and the Fool. With Joseph to launch the new album are Matt McMahon - one of Australia's finest jazz pianists, James Tawadros, a virtuoso player of Egyptian percussion (req, frame drum), KArl Dunnicliff - double bassist with a strong jazz background and Dimitri Vouros - remarkable clarinetist with skills in world music and jazz and improvisation.
