Street dancer Sklyer (Teyana Taylor) has her eyes set on winning a life changing college scholarship. To compete for the prize, she must break free from her sister Toshas (Sierra McClain) shadow and her spot on the same dance crew. Because she isnt formally trained like her sister and the rest of the crew, Skyler has to work harder to prove herself and spends every free moment she has practicing her sexy and unique dance moves. She catches the attention of Tyrell (Bryshere Y. Gray), another underground dancer who believes in Skylers talent and offers to coach her into greatness.
