He wanders the desert unaware of who he is, how he got here and where he is going. Discovered by a woman who nurses him back from the brink of expiration the man has no memory only a piece of paper in his pocket baring the name of a mysterious Manny Elder. The past beckons and for the hero that means the netherworld of Los Angeles where no one is who they seem and the clues accumulate to a reckoning beyond anything he could have ever suspected or summoned in the darkest places of his heart.
