Australia has launched its first J Pop band. PhuZion consists of 18 year old twin sisters Brittany and Courtney Menegon. The girls’ formed PhuZion in 2010 and experimented with a range of styles before settling on J Pop in 2012 having been inspired by J-Pop bands Superfly and Scandal to name a few. Brittany said “we were drawn to the upbeat tempo and dominant guitar sounds”. Couple that with their interest in Korean R&B and Hip Hop music, their first set of recording: the mini album 'Can't Nobody', offers an interesting blend of Hip Hop beats, trance keys and guitar sounds wrapped in a neat Pan Asian package.
