In January 2020, Felicity Urquhart (Golden Guitar winning artist) and Josh Cunningham (The Waifs) were invited to join Song Club - a creative collective that tasked members with writing a song a week.
This challenge gave the pair a lifeline to creativity and community as well as an abundance of new material. Nine of the eleven tracks on ‘The Song Club’ album were written as weekly ‘Song Club’ compositions.
Resulting in an album of simple beauty, true to life narrative and music that celebrates the stories the songs tell.
