In the days when there was little law west of the Pecos, a patrol of six Texas Rangers faced an ambush while in pursuit of the notorious Cavendish gang. Following a deadly crossfire, the outlaws sped away; unaware that one ranger had survived the attack.After nightfall, an Indian happened upon the bodies and found the injured ranger. He bound the rangers wounds and buried the fallen. When the ranger came to, he recognized the Indian as a long lost childhood friend, Tonto, whom he had once saved from harm. Bound by honour and joined through fate, the pair set out to right the wrongs of the Wild West.
