The album was recorded at world famous Sam Phillips Recording Service and produced by Madjack artist Susan Marshall (Lucinda Williams, Afghan Whigs). Engineered and mixed by two time Grammy winner Matt Ross-Spang (Jason Isbell, John Prine, Margo Price) and also engineered by Jeff Powell (Big Star, Cory Branan, Bob Dylan), the album is a collection of ten songs, eight of which were written or co-written by McKenna Bray.
The recording boasts some of Memphis finest musicians including Peewee Jackson (Ana Popovic, Susan Marshall), David Cousar (Carla and Rufus Thomas, Al Green), Al Gamble (St. Paul and The Broken Bones) Dave Smith (Cat Power, Emily Barker), Richard Alan Ford (Memphis Dawls, Rob Jungklas), Mark Edgar Stuart (Jack Oblivian, Cory Branan) and Will Tucker. Ken Coomer from Nashville (Uncle Tupelo, Wilco) is on drums.
