Ever since the first videos surfaced of Calpurnia covering songs from Twin Peaks and Mac DeMarco, there has been a rampant excitement for the band, with fans holding their breath for the promise of original material. Upon announcement of their debut single “City Boy” that vision was realised (and exceeded), with the track garnering millions of streams online, heaped with praise from everyone from Esquire to The FADER, and charting on the Billboard Alternative Chart.
