Fifth album from Montreal-based dark electronic duo Essaie Pas, available March 23rd on DFA via [PIAS]/Inertia.

New Path is loosely based on Philip K Dick’s A Scanner Darkly, a classic of dystopian science fiction.

Features the single “Futur Parlé”, which Pitchfork described as “…they transport their music to the dystopian future…the song evokes a feeling of total unease, with its pounding percussion and caustic synth noise. Of all their songs, “Futur parlé” is one of their most ferocious.”
