In Australia the track reached #2 on The ARIA chart and is certified a massive 4 x Platinum. "Impossible" was nominated for a Brit Award and his self-titled first album, featuring the single "You're Nobody Until Somebody Loves You" and collaborations with Naughty Boy and Emeli Sande, was certified Gold in the UK. Fast forward 2 years, James has been hard at work in the recording studio in London and LA, co-writing with an A-list of songwriters and producers including Red Triangle (Charlie Puth, 5SOS), Jonathan Quarmby (Plan B, Finlay Quaye) and Andrew Jackson (John Legend, John Newman) to produce a body of work that encompasses his experiences and reflects his true and honest self.
