In the Night Garden is about a magical picture-book place that exists between waking and sleeping in a child's imagination. Words, rhymes and music carry the viewer through a happy world of loveable characters and nursery rhyme nonsense. The Pinky Ponk is a sort-of airship in which many of the toys in the garden can travel. A trip on the Pinky Ponk is quite different from a trip on the Ninky Nonk. Rather than careening through the garden, the Pinky Ponk gently rises above it, and eases forward effortlessly and gracefully (most of the time at least !).
