This six-DVD set is a must for all Holden fans. Holdens Heritage Collection is a celebration of the iconic Australian car makers rich history both in competition on the track and as a manufacturer of Australian performance cars for the road. For the first 20 years of its existence, Holden was known for making strong, reliable cars it wasnt until the late 1960s when Holden first ventured into the high performance market. Very soon after the first Holden Monaros were released, Holden was racing them with a factory-backed team and since then theres been no looking back. This DVD collection covers that exciting period in Holdens history, from the early Monaros through to the iconic Commodore, as well as Holdens glorious 40-plus year history in racing. Included is the story of the Holden Dealer Team (HDT), the operation which kicked off the racing effort, followed by the Holden Racing Team which replaced the HDT in the late 80s and continues on the track to this day. Also included is 25 years of HSV, or Holden Special Vehicles, the company which since the late 80s has been responsible for Holden's high-end performance cars. HSV is a Holden legend in its own right, and its story is told here.
