Since 1982, when I started recording my songs for children, I’ve been inspired to write new and original songs about fairy tales. Fairy tales have evolved through the centuries in multiple cultures around the world, and now form a rich and greatly loved part of our own culture. It became my own personal tradition to always include a new fairy tales song on each album. Eventually I recorded a set of Classic Fairy Tales CDs, reading my own adaptation of the stories and singing the songs. Perhaps these wonderful old tales may now be considered old fashioned...well they are, and I still love them. I hope you enjoy my versions of these stories, read and sung'
