Multi ARIA award-winning performer and one of Australia’s most successful entertainers Christine Anu will release her debut Christmas album titled Island Christmas on November 7.

A career spanning over 20 years Christine has featured on the Myer's Spirit of Christmas album, recorded the theme song for Blinky Bill's White Christmas, and has also been a regular performer at Carols in the Domain. So recording a Christmas album was the natural next step.

The festive-themed album is delivered in her beautiful signature style and features duets with The Voice finalist, Steve Clisby, and much loved actor, presenter, children’s entertainer and father, Jay Laga’aia. The track list comprises a selection of Christmas classics, personally selected by Christine for their significance in her own family’s life, including Carol of the Drum, River and a spectacular rendition of Silent Night.

The new album also includes a special appearance from Christine's children Kuiam and Zipporah on the title track Island Christmas, as well as Ooh Child.
