In this bright romantic wartime comedy Deanna returns as the much older and wiser Penny Craig, the character she played in her very first film Three Smart Girls and again in Three Smart Girls Grow Up. She develops a major crush on playboy Bill Morley (Joseph Cotton) and will stop at nothing to get him to the altar. But time starts running out when he joins the marines and is due to be sent overseas. Back again as Pennys parents are Charles Winninger and Nella Walker.
