Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida, TWIN SHADOW is the creative moniker or George Lewis Jr. Since releasing his debut album, 'Forget' in 2010 (produced by GRIZZLY BEAR's Chris Taylor), Twin Shadow has seen nothing but success, 2012 sees the release of Twin Shadow's second album, 'Confess'. Self-produced and mixing duties handled by Michael H. Brauer (BOB DYLAN, PAUL MCCARTNEY), the follow-up to 2010's 'Forget' finds Lewis Jr. doing what he does best; remembering and reinventing, and fashioning a soundtrack which sounds refreshingly and distinctly modern. Lewis Jr. says the inspiration behind 'Confess' comes from motorcycle rides he took in LA after a long hiatus following an accident. "One winter I crashed my motorcycle, with a friend on the back. As the bike slipped from under us my head filled with words. The slow motion moments of calm just after surprise and just before regret are bliss." He says, "I got a new bike and went to LA to record what is now called Confess".
