Ramblin’ Man is the follow-up to the album Long Gone Daddy which stylistically flows similar to what you’d find from early Hank III shows. The album travels an eclectic journey beginning with the sounds of Hank III’s classic retro-outlaw country sound and slowly melds into a raucous rock delivery near it’s end. The album features two tracks that include the influential punk rock band, The Melvins- the tItle track and Hank Sr. cover, “Ramblin’ Man” and Merle Haggard’s “Okie From Muskogee”. The album includes additional classic covers including ZZ Top’s “Fearless Boogie”, Johnny Paycheck’s “I’m The Only Hell My Mama Ever Raised” and Peter Le Farge’s “Marijuana Blues. Two unreleased tracks include the original version of “On My Own” and ‘Runnin’ & Gunnin’.
