“Kiln House” was Fleetwood Mac’s first album after the departure of founder Peter Green.

The album was originally released in 1970 and featured members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Jeremy Spencer, and Danny Kirwan. Even though Christine McVie was not officially part of the band at the time, she was present at the recording studios and contributed backing vocals.

This fourth album highlighted Spencer and Kirwan’s songwriting skills, and Fleetwood Mac’s transition towards a more broad-based musical approach.

“Kiln House” is being re-issued around the release of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours 35th Anniversary Edition.
