The Resistance carry a great legacy in the great Scandinavian extreme metal tradition. The Resistance’s greatly line-up is as powerful as their music: The four Swedish musicians are already heroes in Scandinavian extreme metal.

Alongside In Flames’ founding member (and main songwriter until his departure in 2010) Jesper Strömblad is one of the “columns“ of the huge Resistance sound. The band also features other musicians with extensive music experience under their belt, including another ex member of In Flames, Glenn Ljungström, vocalist Marco Aro (The Haunted, ex-Face Down) and drummer Chris Barkensjö (ex-Kaamos, ex-Grave) with the new addition of bass player Rob Hakamo (ex-M.A.D.).
