April 1 2016 heralds the return of Brooklyn-based experimental rockers Yeasayer with the release the band’s fourth album Amen & Goodbye.

Featuring the first single ‘I Am Chemistry’ - an intricate tapestry of melodies, harmonies and other-worldly sounds tied together by Chris Keating’s inimitable vocals and featuring guest vocals from the legendary folk singer Suzzy Roche of The Roches, the song is signature Yeasayer, building on the futuristic brand of rock and pop the band have explored for the better part of the last decade.

It’s only the first glimpse, however, at the next chapter in the musical journey of Chris Keating, Ira Wolf Tuton and Anand Wilder, with Amen & Goodbye set to see the band move away from the digital-heavy approach of their last release – 2012’s stellar Fragrant World – and instead return to basics, having recorded the entire album to tape at Outlier Inn Studio in upstate New York, with the assistance of drumming virtuoso Joey Waronker (Atoms For Peace, Beck) adding the final rhythmic touches.
