Melbourne's only stoner-swirl jam-psych band, Lurch & Chief, present their much anticipated sophomore EP, 'Breathe!'

The EP was written and recorded in the bands spiritual home, 111 Mt Zero Road Halls Gap VIC. Lead single "Fading Out" is an atmospheric, delicately-crafted end of summer vintage psych jam that sees Lurch flaunt their nostalgic garage pop side; mixing up the dynamic with co-vocalist Lilibeth Hall taking the lead.

As newest members of the Illusive family, the idea behind the chaotic Melbourne six-piece was to give six close friends an artistic outlet. Lurch & Chief are Lilibeth Hall, Alexander Trevisan, Hayden Somerville, Brendan Anderson, Joel Rennison and Josh Lane.

After writing a bunch of garage demos in late 2012, Alexander (Lurch) and Hayden Somerville (Chief) rounded up the only musicians they knew and played their first ever show to a packed out, smoke-filled hazy warehouse party in Melbourne's south east suburbs. Their debut track "We Are The Same" followed, gaining them instant attention from fans and media alike.
