When newspaper publisher Fullerton (John Halliday) invites his handsome, globe trotting star reporter Vincent Bullitt (Melvyn Douglas) to his country estate, he doesnt realise that his adolescent daughter Alice (Deanna) will develop a major crush on the older man.
