That music laid the musical foundations for its members for the next five decades, forging the careers of several offshoot bands, including Rainbow, Whitesnake and, of course, Deep Purple, which continues to record and tour to this day.

This 5CD boxed set is packaged in a clamshell box, and contains 62 tracks as well as a 48-page booklet that details Deep Purple’s hectic early years.
