Two troublemaking Hong Kong cops - a young buck and a grizzled veteran - are sent to investigate a string of murders. However, the case comes to a halt when all the victims lead back to the same ex-girlfriend - aspiring starlet Liu Jin Shui. In an attempt to lure out the killer, one of the officers is forced to pose as Liu's lover.
