Pamela Joi George Pamela-Joi George is a native of Toronto, Canada. From a young age she expressed a love for music. One could always find Pamela sitting beside the radio, singing every song the stations played; all the while pretending to be on stage. She was an active member of her Church's Youth Choir and performed her first solo debut, "Jesus Loves Me/Oh How He loves You and Me", at the age of 13. Upon completion of her solo debut, Pamela became know as "the little lady with the big voice". Pamela was oftentimes invited to sing for special occasions at Church. At this same time she also joined the school choir where she learned to hone her singing skills even further. As her passion and love of music grew Pamela decided to add to her talent by learning to play the piano; which afforded her opportunities to participate in numerous recitals. In the early part of 1980, she initiated, organized, and directed the first young ladies choral at her church in Canada. From 1994 until 1998 Pamela directed and co-directed her church's young adult choir called, "Everlasting Hope." It was however her involvement in Prison Ministries where she finally realized the impact that her music ministry truly had on others. It appeared Pamela would be the only one that could bring a sense of peace when riots broke out among inmates. Her voice would bring tears to the inmate's eyes. Pamela knew then that God had blessed her with this gift to bring reassurance, hope, comfort, and encouragement as well as to lead others to a deeper relationship with God through her music. In 2002 she began the process of her first recording project 'Nearer My God to Thee' which was released in the spring of 2005, under the management of Randall James Gully a respected musician, performer and producer based in Southern California. This project represents Pamela's journey on the pathway to becoming one with God. Each song depicts a step towards achieving this goal. Pamela desires that her music will break through all barriers and be a blessing through all ages and ethnic groups. She also anticipates her music will inspire the soul and connect individuals to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
