Set during the Yuan Dynasty, Sacrifice is the story of a newborn prince whos entire family are massacred by a rival general who ruthlessly seizes the throne. But the young prince is smuggled out and for years is raised by his fathers loyal doctor. The boy knows nothing of his past and as a regular visitor to the palace becomes a favourite of the cold-blooded general who trains him in combat, hoping one day he will succeed him. But the humble doctor has planned far more for the prince, believing revenge is his destiny and the right to claim back the throne.
