Sony Music is delighted to announce the release of the original motion picture soundtrack of Men in Black 3. The score for the film was written by Danny Elfman, award-winning composer of the music for the original Men in Black movie. Danny Elfman has already proved more than equal to the task of providing music that enhances the action and tension of the major box-office hits of this series. His score for the original Men in Black movie was nominated for an Academy Award, and Elfman now numbers among the most distinguished composers for cinema and television.
His best-known work includes the main title theme of The Simpsons. He has been nominated for a total of four Academy Awards, and is the winner of a Grammy Award for composing the theme for Tim Burton’s Batman film and an Emmy Award for his Desperate Housewives theme. Among the many cinema hits that he has scored are, for example Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and more recently Alice in Wonderland.
