Radlands

While the band's first three LPs were recorded in London, Mystery Jets decided to spice up their lives and fly out to Austin to lay down the majority of the 11-song affair in "a big old wooden house on the banks of the Colorado river." They did, however, finish up the record with producer Dan Carey (Hot Chip, Franz Ferdinand, Emiliana Torrini) in his south London studio.Renowned for their distinct tempo changing and ever experimental structures, Radlands see's the Mystery Jets fulfill their best songwriting to date. Noticeably less 'synth' heavy as their previous internationally well received release 'Seratonin' , Radlands takes you on journey to the musical heartland of America. Much of the album encapsulates their experience in Austin.
