What sorts of taxes and duties apply to Sanity.com.au orders?
Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applied to domestic but not international orders. International orders are discounted by 10% when checking out.
Sanity.com.au is required to place a Customs Declaration on all goods shipped to customers outside Australia. The declaration will disclose the correct monetary value of the content.
For customers receiving goods outside Australia, import duties and/or taxes may be levied by the local country's authorities. These duties cannot reasonably be ascertained by Sanity.com.au when purchasing goods on our website. Therefore the recipient of the goods is responsible for paying these duties to the local country's authority.
